Animal passion

I share my home and my life with my cat, Kushisa
She means so much to me
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzplayer/KushisaandI.jpg" border=0>

My brother lives next door to me, when I was out of the country, he brings her to meet me when I fly home
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzplayer/mycat.jpg" border=0>
Behind my home, is a new building, Kushisa sometimes goes to play in there. The attraction of little mice I think <img src=pix/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

She means the world to me, I love her, and she always greets me when I return home from work. You know its strange how we can develop feelings fror another spieces, hey, you may have a photo in your purse of a loved one, guess whose photo I keep in mine
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzplayer/mycat2.jpg" border=0>

You can call me crazy, but I love her

I also have a horse, her name is Ashari, she lives at the stables just outside the city
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzyblue/atstables.jpg" border=0>
I love to go down there at every opourtunity, we ride in the forest of around the arena. Sometimes in summer, we drive to the beach and trot along the shore
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzyblue/myhorse.jpg" border=0>

Ido like the equestrian competitions and take part in some as work permits. You have to totally relax with your body, and your mind becomes one with your ride
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzyblue/ride2.jpg" border=0>

But if not competing or simply treking, I sometimes visit her just to groom her myself, she can be a demon for stablehands to exercise her, and she is naughty sometime to them, but with me, she always look for carrot and apple I take for her, then shes upset if I dont give her a good rub down. She has known me since she was a new foal. Once when a saddle strap was loose, it must have annoyed her, she threw me off into a puddle of muddy water, but other than that, she has never been naughty to me, never biten. Horses can be very emotional you know!

Ashari has no meaning.
Her name came from my young cousin who was four years old at the time
She had just returned from a trip to a snow bound Hokkaido, where she witnessed the storms of snow at her grandmothers home. She mis-pronounced the word <b> ARASHI </b> which in Japanese, means storm.
But Ashari stayed, I kind of think its such a beautiful name anyway
<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzyblue/training.jpg" border=0>

As you can see, when I was younger, I use to stand taller than her, and still I have her eating out of my hand. But on the jumps, she has no equal, with such grace, she almost flies over the gates, like riding PEGASUS from Greek myth

<img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzyblue/ride.jpg" border=0><img src="http://www.boomspeed.com/jazzyblue/SurfRider.jpg" border=0>

I have ridden other horses at the stables and Asharis mother at the beach, but no other can take her place. When you have ridden one horse so many times, each knows the other, we can move as one

Oh Felidae, I would love to swim with Dolphins, I cannot determine if you say you have or would like to. So you have a cat also, does he have a name, what mischief does he find, do you have pictures?

Please Feisty, tell us what it was like, how you felt in their close presence. I am looking at you with envious eyes. Talking of eyes, I hear those of our dolphin cousins seem to penetrate right through to your soul.how did they react to you in their water. If you touch one, or maybe stoke one, how does he react. Oh, I am sorry to give you all questions, I just wish to satisfy my curiosity

Felidae, a tiger???
I think that I would be afraid. I think all felines have an uncomparable grace, but I would admire that of a tiger, only from a distance, you are a very brave woman my friend, far more couragous than I

No need to hide behind me dear Jazz...you are a strong lady! <img src=pix/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I HAD to do it....Felidae is a latin word for the order, genus, family, something! of cats. Cats are beautiful, graceful creatures. And yes, they are dangerous. I would never take any wild animal for granted. There was someone there holding the leash, but he was sprawled over my lap and I was bottle feeding him..since everyone was looking and no one else was standing in line, I got to sit for awhile with it...my hair was VERY long at the time and it did try and play with it...with its MOUTH,but the trainer yanked it away....it happened so fast, yet I didnt leave. I asked lots of questions and put my face into its springy fur and rubbed. They are not soft at all...I was surprised at that. It was a wonderful experience!

Hairball, they're adorable! Just like their mama! What're their names? I'm really into names for some reason. Here's a good one... a friend of mine just named his cat "Cat" - his reasoning, "he doesnt come when I call him anyway" (shrug)
