Re: Birth Announcement

Well, the dogs don't interest me much, YY, but what kind of fish do you have?

Re: Birth Announcement

Mostly a variety of goldfish, a couple of algae eaters. I have one in another
tank I have no idea what kind of fish it is, but I have to keep it separate from
the others. He eats other fish....name "butthead". My daughter likes the
goldies soooo that's what we got.

Re: Birth Announcement

Goldfish are cool, plus they're mainly pretty easy to feed and care for. Are
they the fancy kind or koi? The fancy ones are usually pretty round with long
flowing fins, and the coy are normal-shaped long white fish with splotches of
bright red and black.

I like the fancy ones with the bubble eyes the best.

What does butthead look like? Is he short and stubby with thick black and gold
stripes?

Re: Birth Announcement

They are fancy Ed. I like the big lionheads, but tanks are too small only 10 and
20 gal. Same thing with the Koi they get too big.

No Butthead is blue. I know that the species starts with a 'C' but I can't
remember how to spell it or say it.

Re: Birth Announcement

Hmmm, it's been a while since I've messed around with latin names of fresh
water fish.

Maybe he's a cichlid of some sort. I can't think of too many blue fresh water
tough guys...maybe a Jack Dempsey.

The only other blue ones I can think of are blue gourami's, but that's probably
what you have.
